JPNAP, JPIX, and BBIX to Establish Internet Exchange Points at AT TOKYO Chuo Center #3 (CC3) and Rollout Services Starting October 2024 —CC3 Emerging as the New Network Hub of Japan—

AT TOKYO Corporation (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Tatsuya Izumida; hereinafter "AT TOKYO"), Internet Multifeed Co. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Koichi Suzuki; hereinafter "Multifeed," IX service name: JPNAP), Japan Internet Xing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Akihiro Tsuru; hereinafter "JPIX"), and BBIX, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Hidetoshi Ikeda; hereinafter "BBIX") will stablish their respective internet exchange points (IXPs) at AT TOKYO Chuo Center #3 (CC3)*1, currently under construction.
Service for each company's exchange point is slated for rollout starting in October 2024, further details will be announced by each respective company at a later date.

Internet traffic volume keeps on increasing due to the shift to cloud of enterprise systems, widespread remote working, and high volume content, and as it is expected that these trends will continue, the need for stable internet connections will be crucial for the development of businesses.
For these reasons, AT TOKYO, Multifeed, JPIX, and BBIX have teamed up to provide a stable internet connection environment within CC3. This will help to make CC3 serve as a new major network hub for Japan in line with the existing data centers of AT TOKYO.

AT TOKYO has long provided services to numerous network operators both domestically and overseas. The establishment of exchange points by these three IX providers at CC3, together with the newly established Trans-Tokyo Port Cable*2 that will connect them by the shortest route to the Toyosu/Ariake area, where many IT companies are concentrated, will help CC3 serve as a platform to support Tokyo as a city with advanced technological industries and an international finance presence.

Through partnerships with Multifeed, JPIX, and BBIX via CC3, AT TOKYO will not only provide robust infrastructure and operations as a data center provider, but it will also continue to provide an even higher quality of service and greater convenience to customers in Japan and abroad as Japan's leading urban network data center.
