JPNAP Osaka Service Launches at Sonezaki Data Center

INTERNET MULTIFEED CO. (Multifeed) announced today that it will add the Sonezaki Data Center (Kita-ku, Osaka-shi, Osaka Prefecture), which will be newly provided by NTT SmartConnect Corporation, to its connection point of JPNAP Osaka Service, the Internet Exchange (IX) service provided by Multifeed, and will commence service on April 18, 2022.

The Sonezaki Data Center is a large-scale data center located near Dojima area that provides high network connectivity in Osaka, where demand continues to grow as an interconnection point for content providers and Internet service providers.

JPNAP already provides services in 4 areas in Japan, Tokyo/Osaka/Fukuoka/Sendai. In response to the growing need for interconnection in the Osaka area as well as the Tokyo area by content providers and Internet service providers, we are expanding the number of interconnection points in the Osaka area.

JPNAP Osaka will be connected to the following 7 locations:

• NTT Telepark Dojima 1
• NTT Telepark Dojima 3
• NTTDATA Dojima Building
• Equinix OS1
• Equinix OS3
• AT TOKYO DC12
• Sonezaki Data Center
