INTERNET MULTIFEED CO. Launches Time Information Public Service

INTERNET MULTIFEED CO. (MFEED; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Koichi Suzuki) announced today the full-scale launch of IPv4/IPv6 supported "INTERNET MULTIFEED Time Information Public Service" will begin March 31, 2005. MFEED has offered the service on a trial basis since April in 2001[1] in cooperation with the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), that provides Japan Standard Time "NTP Service"[2], Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Co. (NTT) and Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ). Based on know-how and operating technologies acquired from the trial, MFEED provides highly accurate time information as a free public service to contribute to development of a variety of activities on the Internet. MFEED is committed to playing a pioneering role in continued growth of the Internet, providing services that support this growth and that contribute to improving the reliability of vital public infrastructure.
