Impress Corporation's Popular "Mado-no-Mori" Website to Adopt MultiFEED

News Release

Impress Corporation

INTERNET MULTIFEED CO.

Impress Corporation (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; president: Keiichirou Tsukamoto), a publisher that specializes in books and magazines on personal computing, has contracted with INTERNET MULTIFEED CO. (MFEED; headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; president: Koichi Suzuki) to help cope with burgeoning access to its popular "Mado-no-Mori" website (see note below), the foremost on-line resource for information and downloads of freeware and shareware in Japan. Starting Tuesday, March 17, visitors to the Mado-no-Mori site should begin to notice improved performance when accessing information and downloading software.

MFEED's services promise to provide smooth access for users and to help relieve the burden of handling the more than one hundred million hits a month that Mado-no-Mori gets, making it one of the most popular Japanese websites. Users whose ISPs connect directly to MFEED can expect conspicuously improved access to Mado-no-Mori.

In the near future, Impress also plans to adopt MultiFEED services to provide enhanced access for users of its "Watch" series servers as well.

Please note that these new services do not entail any revisions to Mado-no-Mori's present URL, which will remain unchanged.
